How does this work
We are experienced experts in our field. We have attended major flood events in Queensland as well as attending to general Insurance claims in and around Sydney, for over 12 years. We specialise in accurate assessment and completion of building works as a result of Insurance claims. We know exactly how the system works and can ensure that our clients do not miss out on any entitlements.
HOW,
- We advise our clients to lodge an Insurance claim, if they haven’t already.
- We then meet with our clients and prepare a detailed assessment report, accompanied by a market acceptable quotation which includes an Insurance company accepted spread sheet of costs.
- When the Insurance companies representatives attend site, our clients are adequately prepared with the information required to ensure their Insurer provides an accurate scope of works and quotation.
OR, In cases where by our clients have already had an Insurer representative site visit, assessment and quotation.
- We attend site and carry out our own assessment and costings to check against the Insurers assessment and associated quotation.
a) In nearly all cases we will find areas missed and increase the scope of works and value of claim, many times substantially.
None of what we do is about be greedy or misleading, it is simply about ensuring all our clients are treated fairly and receive what they are entitled to.
Examples for some of our own clients
C ……… called for a quotation and advised that her Insurer had offered her a cash settlement of $ 30,000, for damages caused both inside and out as a result of a recent hail storm. We asked if she had a scope of works provided by her Insurer explaining what was covered by the payout. She did not and instead had merely received a phone call from her Insurer offering to place $ 30,000 into her bank account.
Fortunately we became involved early enough to prevent this.
We reassessed this claim and had the settlement amount raised to $ 56,000.
L .………. called with a similar story as above however in her case she had a detailed scope of works which totalled $ 26,000.
We reassessed the property and found a myriad of errors, missed and under priced items, on her report. We reassessed and priced the scope of works increasing the settlement amount to $ 67,000.
The above examples are very common
